residential program
The Davidson County Drug Court Program is committed to providing a quality therapeutic community to promote positive change in criminal and addictive behaviors for the purpose of reintegrating adult offenders into society. A seamless approach is utilized to provide consistency ensuring all participants see and feel confident in working with any and all staff.
The Davidson County Drug Court Residential Program wishes to be known for creating a model program dedicated to holistically address the range of treatment needs of the people we serve. Combined with supervision, the program uses a uniquely modified therapeutic community approach which combines treatment and supervision to arrest their addiction and co-morbid mental health disorders to enable them to become productive members of the community. We strive in partnership with the community, to become the creative and comprehensive provider of treatment services in the criminal justice system. We emphasize maintaining a responsive, effective and well-coordinated continuum of care, and we promote a respect for the dignity of our clients and staff. We are committed to professional excellence, integrity and improvements in all we do.
Realizing the Dream
Of all opertaing Drug Courts in the United States, Davidson County is the 'only' drug court known to operate its own residential facility. Our goal is to share our concepts with other jurisdictions and have similar programs replicated elsewhere.
